It’s all the sevens for the Elie family
Born in the seventh hour on the seventh day of the seventh month in the seventh year of the millennium - could this be the world's luckiest baby?
Not only did little Elizabeth Elie pick all the sevens to arrive into the world - she is the seventh child to be born into her family.
Proud parents Serge and Herbethe Elie were in seventh heaven when they learnt the details of Elizabeth's amazing arrival - in delivery room seven at Birmingham's Good Hope Hospital.
"There's sevens everywhere, this must be a good omen, it's a gift from God,'' Mr Elie, 37, said.
"I can't wait to tell her that she was born on such a memorable occasion. It is absolutely amazing, I'm a delighted and very happy man."
Mrs Elie, 35, a full time mother, said: "We were aware Elizabeth was due on this special date but to be delivered at that time and in that room is just absolutely incredible.
"Serge and I already feel like the luckiest parents in the world but to have our seventh child born on this day is brilliant. I hope Elizabeth will be lucky in life and have lots of good fortune."
Elizabeth is a sister to Daniel, 14, Sagesse, 11, Jockebed, 6, Jemima, 2, and nine-year-old twins - Doracs and Enis.
Emma Whapples, the midwife in charge of Good Hope's delivery suite on Saturday, believes the number seven will be Elizabeth's lucky number for life. "The only special dates of births we usually have here is Christmas and New Year - so this is great for us. It's an amazing coincidence and a little bit spooky," she said.
