Why Am I Not Getting Pregnant?

Hi, we dont think your infertile at all , i'm not infertile as i've had tests and i'm ovulating but we've been still trying for 15 months. i think what everyone is trying to say is that just because your young it doesnt mean you are automatically fertile. I'm sure everything is fine with you and your partner. i think its about 10 months out of 12 that you ovulate so it may just be that u havent ovulated for a couple of months. you will ovulate around 14 days before your next period is due so if you are regular then you will be able to roughly work this out and your egg will only be around for 12-24 hours so timing is precious, you can get ovulation sticks from ebay for a great price compared to pharmacies ! try to have sex 2-3 days before ovulation then on the day of ovulation and not inbetween that as you need your partners sperm to be at it's strongest. i'm perfectly clean..and free of sti's both me and my partner are clean but over here doctors don't aprove of teenage mothers and i've tried to get a fertility test but they didn't let me..stupid mean people and my boyfriend is getting one next time he goes to the doctors. and the family clinic that i went to said i should still be producing eggs but they obviously don't know anything...i'm not going to ask anymore questions on this site...everyone thinks i'm infertile

there cud b a few reasons y ur not concieving.Do u or ur partner drink or smoke? also just njoy urselves n if its meant 2 b then it wil just happen. good luck xx

you said on the other discussion that your 16, another factor that can cause infertility is STI's, have you both had fertility tests?

some people try for years to conceive with no explination and just because your young does not mean your not infertile or could have fertility problems, you say you have been trying for a long time, how long is that?

its rare to have periods when your pregnant especially if they are the same as usual

okay I'm going to ask a question on top of this post..My stomach is getting hard but I just got my period..My boyfriend's best friends sister-in-law was 8 1/2 months when she found out..could i be pregnant even though I have my period?

I think you need to reseacrh a lot still babe. The girlies on here are right, we dont judge anyone on their age, im only 21 myself but if you can provide for a child and give it a loving home and stable family then it doesnt matter what anyone else thinks. Firstly, dont do it every day. Every 2 or 3 days is right. You need to figure out how long your cycles are (from day 1 - your period starting to the day its starts again) can be 28 - 40+ days. This will help you pinpoint the most fertile 5 days in your cycle. You can only get pregnant uring these few days a month, not just any day. Buy ovulation kits - you pee on a stick like a preg test and it tells you if you are ovualting or not. DO NOT PUT PORBLEMS DOWN TO AGE - ANYONE CAN SUFFER FERTILITY PROBLEMS. Your tubes could be blocked and you wouldn't know any different, just like sperm problems - you dont know as you still ejaculate. Until you have been trying 12months and your doctor sees you then you dont know if you do have any problems :) Hope this helps a little, if we can help any more then do add us as a friend xx
