With my first my bump was unbelievably huge, i was a size 6-8 and ended up putting on 5 stone. Everyone said my baby would be massive or i'd have a whole litter and the comments got to me a bit. I was bigger than any of my friends who were due around the same time and my baby was 7lb 13oz, however when my waters broke it was like a tidal wave!!! i'm not so big this time around, ive only put on 9lb so far. BUt i dont think you have anything to worry about. Were you really small to begin with?
Phew, thanks, this is nice to know :) Although not looking forward to the tidal wave!! I'm normally size 10 (10-12 in a lazy month!) So not as small as you!! I've put on about a stone so far and it is all bump - which got me worried!! Well good luck with the pregnancy, hope you have a nice little neat bump this time round! xx
hey im 26 weeks and have found this past few days this bump has come from nowhere! my boyfriend said last night 'phwoar- the size of you!' i was like thanks 4 that! bless him!
but i was panicing as i was a 10lb 6oz baby n my bf was 9lbs exactly so i am starting to 'brick it' a bit now!
please. if thers a god up there please don't make me push a baby hippo out!!! xxx
This made me giggle!! My hubby keeps saying the same thing 'god, you are big aren't you' etc...I say 'thanks darling, so sweet of you...' I was a big baby, 9lb 14 or something, so I'm getting scared of the baby hippo syndrome too! Oh well, can't really turn back now - I keep wondering whether there'll be a pain free way of giving birth invented by March but I'm not holding out on that too much... xx

dont really think it has much to do with the size of the baby, i was huge with my first everyone kept joking it was twins but luckily it was just the one and a nice 7lbs 8oz. dont worry too much! xx
Hi all, I'm 22 weeks and my bump is really quite big - everyone I meet comments on it! Does this indicate a big baby? (please god noooo!) Even hubby has said he can see a difference every day! My skin has started to get tight aswell today and belly button looks about to pop out (freaking me out slightly..haha!) I just wondered if size of bump had anything to do with size of baby? xx
