The last few weeks i have become nocturnal. Not being able to get comfortable, Husband snoring, restlessness. All this means that i have taken to stayin up until i can't stay awake!
Usually, because my husband works long hours i let him sleep in our bed while i sleep in the spare room. If he doesn't have to get up to early he sleeps on the sofa so i can at least try to get some sleep.
Tonight was the first night in weeks that i felt tired enough to go to sleep at a normal hour. I actually fell asleep as well. That is until my husband decided to come to bed and wake me up with his snoring! I swear to god, it is like trying to sleep next to a bunch of snorting pigs. I am livid!! i feel like smothering him with a pillow.
So here i am, once again, feeling like a zombie. Snoring remedies don't work, trust me we've tried em all. tho's of you that haven't experianced it will probably think i'm over reacting but the way i feel at the moment is that if this can't be resolved it's gonna completely ruin our marriage!
Sleep deprivation and being hormonal does not make for a happy camper!
I know how u feel, my husband can fall asleep anywhere he was asleep on the sofa once snoring and i was talking to my bro on msn and i said I have an overwhelming urge to chuck something at him! I have trouble getting to sleep if he comes to bed with me because most of the time I go alone while hes up in the loft room on his pc and its got bad before that ive slept in my sons room.
If we didnt have a spare room i think we'd be divorced by now!
hubby knows how u feel - i snore really bad and no none of the supposed snoring 'remedies' work they are all rubbish buy some earplugs thats what i would do at least then u could prob sleep in your own bed
ear plugs are aboutas usful as a chocolate teapot! the dont drown otu his snoring and on top of that i get the sound of em rubbin against teh pillow in stereo everytime i move. when i sya i've tried everything i mean absolutely everything! lol
I'm pinnin my hopes on his gp refering him to a sleep clinic, that way eben if they cant find the problem at least i get a few nights peace ans quiet in my own bed!!!
My partner works shifts and I love it when he's on nights!!!! He snores most nights which is fine if I'm asleep but he complains about me breathing on his neck!! He's got a cough at the moment too so I long for those nights when he's at work.
