CLEAR BLUE TESTS - depressed, need answers

Has any one ever had a NEG clear blue pregnancy test that was false? I am hoping mine was a false negative :o( I am about 4 days late. I tested with a clear blue test on the day I was due and it was neg and tested again today with a digital one and it was neg, I am PRAYING i tested too early.. BUT these tests are supposed to be really good and even be able to tell if you are preg 4 days BEFORE your missed period. Any way, if you have been in this situation, I would appreciate a response, just to make me feel better.... I'm feeling pretty depressed right now. I STUPIDLY convinced myself it would be a BFP. I can't think of any other reason for me to miss a period and to have several pregnancy symptoms... is it all in my head?! :-(

Im in the same boat - I am late for this period and the last one was a little odd. I've been having some symptoms so I think I could be pregnant. I've made a drs appointment though and I would recommend anyone else do the same - I think they can do a more accurate blood test? The prenancy tests from shops test hormone levels and not everyone makes the hormones that early on

I had a test in A&E but the hospital told me it was negative! 3 day later they phoned me to say they had got it wrong and i was! You know your own body if you think you are then your probably right! Try a few different tests, boots own testings sticks are very good! Good luck x
Congratulations :-D Thanks for the advice.x

it depends on how long your cycle is... i have a 36 day cycle so 6 weeks preg for me is only 6 days after a missed period. if your cycle is 28 days then 6 weeks preg would be 2 weeks after a missed period

you count the amount of weeks from the first day of your last period.

hope this helps x
Its been 5 weeks and 1 day isince my last period :-) So, yeah, i think 6 weeks would be about 2 weeks after my missed period! I feel SO excited but so depressed at the same time, incase im not preg :o( It feels like ive got permanent butterflies, I will do until I get a BFP or period. x It did help thanks!

i had loads of negative tests with my son, and only had positive ones from 8 weeks on... every woman is different and doesnt have exactly the same level of pregnancy hormone so some women will show sooner on a test than others, and some tests are more sensitive than others too... dont worry too much
Did those tests include the Clear Blue ones that are meant to be REALLY sensitive to the preg hormone?? Trying not to worry but its so hard! I don't know if I should be avoiding certain things and taking better care of my self, every time a symptom shows I wonder if its in my head... I keep holding my belly and praying to hear a tiny voice saying 'YES mummy I'm here!' LOL!!! I sound like and feel like I need mental help!
