Hi there, i am very new to all this and never thought i would have to write what i am about to write but i do. I am 26 years old and have been married for 2 and a half years to my childhood sweetheart! We have been ttc for about 18 months without success so we decided to bite the bullet and vist the gp, who was great and organised lots of tests etc. I had an us scan this week and was told my ovaries look ploycystic but that i will need to wait to talk to my gp til next week. I have been reading up on pcos and am now petrified that i will never conceive. I dont really have any of the signs except that my cycles are rather lengthy 33-35 days in length. My husband has also been told this week that he has a slightly low sperm count and some have reduced motility which again has frightened us to death. I have started him on zinc, vit a b c and d in the hope that this might make a difference in the long run. We are so desperate for children can anyone reassure me that these things can be helped? Many thanks

Thanks Ellie,

That makes me feel a little better, having been on the net i have read many stories of people conceiving with pcos which is heart warming. Am dreading the docs on weds but i know it is something that has to be done and hopefully i will have more answers than questions after this...fingers crossed! Thanks again though
