Sore nipples

I am now 8 days late for period (but still no BFP) and I woke up yesterday morning with a very sore right nipple. It is still slightly sore but not permanently, the pain seems to come and go. I don't think my nipps or boobs are any bigger and havent noticed any veins or darker colouring. Did any one else experience sore nipples on and off during early pregnancy? 3 days to go until i go to doc for blood and urine test!
