Article : Conjunctivitis (or Pinkeye)

When my son got a 'sticky eye' not long after birth i had a health care assistant who was helping me breastfeed. she gave me the best piece of advice for sticky eye!!!

She advised me to express off a little milk and then dowse a bit of cotton wool in your breast milk, use this to clean out your babies eye. Remember to use a seperate piece of cooton wool every time u wipe the eye. All the goodness of your your milk fights any infection in the eye.

I was a little shocked when she advised me this, but it really does work his eye had cleaned up from the afternoon to the evening...its magic!!

Good luck x x x
