O.M.G! Why oh Why does my precious cargo have to be Nocturnal?
(dave)As we've names my bump, hardly moves during the day apart from to get comfortable but as soon as i settle down at night, from about 10pm onwards dave starts to warm up for another night of vandalism. I'm pretty sure My little one is aspiring to play rugby for wales, which is fine by me!
Of course because baby is nocturnal so am i. If my neighbours keep me awake all i have to do is knock down the door and threaten them with one of my strongly worded neighbourhood watch letters but dave can't read and i think the men in white coats might come after me if i tried to take out an ASBO on my unborn child for disturbing the peace!
Now my hubby is convinced that i'm nudging him all night when i'm pretty sure it's dave!
Am i the only one up in the wee small hours while my baby subjects me to womb abuse?
I am laughing soooooooooooo much ! that is the funniest post i've read for ages ! Obviously not for you and your lack of sleep but at least u have the reasurance x good luck hun x
Reading that has made me laugh (which i shouldnt be doing really as i am in the library at university lol)
My little one is the same, a few bumps an kicks through the day but as soon as i get comfortable in bed away goes the placid belly, and out come the baby trampets and bouncy castles.
I also seem to feel alot of movements around 11am, So I'm glad my baby doesnt like early mornings :D x
Daffydil you have made me laugh so much!! Moglet does exactly the same for me - even to the extent he/she kicks me off the mattress!!
As for playing for Wales - my Moglet is definately gunning to replace Stephen Jones & James Hook - doesn't help that its Daddy keeps saying "kick for Daddy" when talking to Moglet. If he's not careful I'm going to kick him as Moglet really does react to Daddy's voice!
Anyway counting down the days now to the B Day as well as the 6 nations! At least then I get my own back screaming at the rugby - it's enough to frighten Moglet into keeping quiet!
LOL
xx
yeah my midwife told me that during the day when we move about our pelvis moving and almost rocking them to sleep so when we lie down and that stops baby goes PING! eyes open and it's play time. love the analogies of 'womb abuse and vandalism' coz it absolutely feels like you've messed up your kid and they hate you already like a stroppy teenager (maybe you could call it Kevin like Harry Enfield's nightmare adolescent character!)love the Dave bit too are you intending on calling the baby David if it is a boy or is it just a pet name you can tease them with and threaten to tell their girlfriends?!!
oh god I SO remember that! not something that can be forgotten, especially when baby spreads her/himself out and presses on your bladder argh! there better not be anything between me or the bathroom or it/they will be flattened! and to think I'm getting broody again! p.s daffydil I love reading your posts- you pretty much always make me laugh! x x
