I had the same kind of experience as Sianybaby , a massive bleed at 7 wks nothing on scan but aweek later a little peanut showed himse;f and 9 mnths later we had a healthy boy who is nearly 3 now, although at the start of 2nd preg i was so scared about going to the toilet incase it happened again thank goodness it didn't and we had a healthy girl.
Apparently bleeding more common than you think, my friend bleed the whole way through her 1st pregnancy and spent more time at the hospital getting checked, if you are worried just go to the early pregnancy unit at your hospital and get checked out. Hope all is well now X
i had bleeding at the begining of my first pregnancy, they told me in a non sympathetic way, well you mite lose it you migh not!!!! they then gave me two early scans, the first one showed nothing and i thought id misscarried but low and behold 8 days later a second scan showed a tiny grain of rice with a heart beat and i had a healthy baby boy.
bleeding in early pregnancy is more common than you'd think and if its just a little bit and your not in pain its usualy nothing to worry about (implantaion bleeding they call it) the embryo burying in nice and deep to the wall of your uterus. if however you have lots of bleeding and cramping/pain get checked out. well you know, you've had the unfortunate experience yourself as have i.
good luck hope everythings fine for you. xx
thank you so much for your advise put my mined at rest a bit xx sue xx
