2 year old keeps takig nappy off in night!!

Hi. Rather than focussing on how naughty he is (he obviously thinks it's funny and is probably quite chuffed with the reaction he gets from you!) have you considered putting him in pyjama pants at night and telling him what a big grown up boy he is? You could try a start chart for every night he stays dry and promise him a special treat if he makes it through 3 or 5 or 7 nights depending on how well he takes to it. You can buy matress pads from mothercare which are very absorbent (i think they're actually marketed as maternity pads) and will prevent the damage to his matress but perhaps by focussing on a good side to it rather than the naughty side and by you not getting annoyed with him he might not find it so amusing to wet his bed. Perhaps you could also take him to choose a new bedset and tell him he has to take special care of it and not wet it?? Good luck and I hope it works out. hi my son is 2 and for lat 3 months he takes his clothes and nappy off in the night then wets the bed. he knows hes being naughty as in the morning when i go to get him hes smacking himself saying "bad boy" but he thinks its funny. i have had to buy a new matress already as it smelt so bad even with a protector on not to mention constantly cleaning his bedset and bathing him as he gets a rash from his urine. Also at this time of year he gets freezing cold.i have tried so many things even putting his babygrow on back to front but he still undoes it i really dont know what else to do with him but its driving me crazy now please does anyone have any advice that may work? thanks emma xx
