i like listening to the old wives tales but don't take note, i ahve my pram in my house bought baby clothes before i was even pregnant! it depends how supersishos (wrong spelling) you are.
there are loads of Old wives tales running about, i got told them all the time i even looked some up on the net cos i got curious about where they come from and like fairy tales not many people know!! there just a bit of fun really like right now im suffering with really yucky spots on my face, bags under my eyes and sallow skin and no mater how many times i wash my hair a week its always greasy by the end of the day! and i have been told my baby is going to be a stunner cos it steals the mothers radiance and looks. the shape of your bump can tell you if your having a boy or girl same if your butt gets big or not if your fingers swell ect lol its all just a bit of fun at the end of the day xxxxx
There is loads of tales, don't tickle your babies feet it makes them stutter, don't stand them up early it makes them bow legged etc etc, if you listened to them all you would not even pick your baby just in case. I do tend to take them with a pinch of salt, however saying that I did not bring them pram in the house until Lily arrived
oh i was told that one about dont tickle their feet lol my son didn't seem to be ticklish on the bottom of his feet for ages but he is now bless him and when i play this little piggy he knows whats coming haha.
Haha I know! My mum said she'll keep the pram at hers - which is fine...I quite like the tradition but when I said we'd got the cot and put it up she said 'oh no that's bad luck!' I thought it was just the pram?! Anyway, I tend to ignore things like that - I don't really think it's bad luck. I just take it all with a pinch of salt :)
xx
I agree with Linds, but saying that I have bought my pram and am keeping it at the mother in laws house!!
