hello everyone, since trying for a baby (tho ive given a few months a rest) ive been having twinges in the area of my ovaries, im awear of a couple of things it could be such as ovulation and cysts, ive read that during ovulation the twinges happen mostly on the right side which i do get, but its on the left hand side which happens the most strongest it can be a bit of an unplesent feeling but only lasts a few seconds and it can leave it feeling a little tender/sore a couple of times it has been a little sharp, however i dont have any other symptoms that comes with cysts on the ovaries, and my periods are always on time, i dont think the twinges i have on my left hand side have a pattern tho i havnt kept note they just seem to come before or after my periods, i dont suffer with painful periods eather, i never sufferd with these problems before trying to concive. I just wonderd if anyone can shead a little more light into my situation and if anyone else has something like what im suffering with? (sorry for any spelling mistakes) thanks for taking the time to read

hello just to let you know i had the same thing happening to me and went the doctors he explained that in that area is the end of your small intestine and so some times you get a pain as things are moving threw your body. I thought i had cysts on my ovaries as well. hope allis well. x x
hello thanks everyone for replying to my question, i had to look up what UTI ment so you wernt alone trinapinkbug :) hehe, thanks daiseymay i never thought about that. I suppose the only way ill no for certain is if i go to the docs, im just so scared of tests ect and i seem to get myself into a mess if i think ill need surgical treatment. If anyone else has anymore answers it would be greatly apreciated (sorry for any spelling mistakes) thankyou :D

Sorry for sounding thick...what is UTI?
not at all hun ....a UTI is a Urinary Tract Infection....in other words a water infection....I'm sorry thats me forgetting that i'm not at work lol xxx sorry xxx

Hiya,i suffer with ovualtion pain,and it's always on my left side too,i do have a cyst on my left ovary,which showed up at a scan when i was pregnant the first time in 2004 and is still there when i was preg last july.(all pregnancy's have ended in miscarriages) The nusre's have said it is nothing to worry about and will go some day. It's not stopped us from getting pregnant and hasn't had anything to do with my miscarriages! Hope This helps.
