hi everyone.
i'm new to this site and very new to being pregnant. i found out yesterday for certain although i've known for bout two weeks. thing is, i've been having a 'discomfort' in my lower abdo, almost just above my pubic bone. i'm probably just being over-worried but will mention it to the doc tomorrow. any thoughts?

Buttercup-I think they can only pick up a heart beat from about 6 weeks, so thats probably why you have to wait for the scan...at this stage it will be hard if not impossable for them to see where the baby is. Hang in there.xx

hi all im lisa and i only fount out i was pregnant this week been to docs and because iv had an op on my ovarys there all on about eptopic pregnancy then said there dont think i am having one but they put the fear in me and i tried to demand a scan but they said best they could do was 2 weeks time why did they tell me if i could not find out straight away so now im confused i dont no weather to celabrate or not as i dont no if this baby is gonna happen and i so want it to happen iv been tryin 2 years to get pregnant god im so scared i feel like a little girl again :(

hi girls, i've experianced a m/c and it's the worst thing in the worl but it will heeel in time and you will move forward. i'm guessing everything is fine hence the last post being 7 mths ago, i have to say that just finding out i'm pregnant again has brought back all the fears i thought i left behind. i have a scan on the 15th to search for a heartbeat and i'm terrified there won't be one, i'm trying to be positive but i don't feel very pregnant (sickness ect) but i'm trying to be positive and think nice things to my baby, so i know how hard it is. my best advice rest, relax and take one day at a time.

well, i made it 2 12 wks. Ive booked a private scan 4 2 days time as need some reassurance. Still got discomfort but no bleeding - does this mean now that i am less likely 2 miscarry now? xx

I agree, I had a miscarriage (unfortunately it was while I was on a cruise and was in the middle of the ocean, I didn't actually tell anyone for over a week that I had a miscarriage, including my husband, until we got back to England). After several test because although my womb was empty I was still registering as pregnant, I was finally given the all clear. We then started ttc straight away and fell pregnant within the month and now have a lovely son who is now 5 years old. I think it is down the individual to know when the time is right to start ttc again. Take care.

i bin getting pains 2 told my midwife today who didnt seem too concerned as its not a constant pain if u feel its not going away i would get it checked. put ur mind at rest. I had a miscarriage in feb so understand u completely.x PS Keep me posted x

Please can anybody help!!! Im 11 wks pregnabt and this is my third pregnancy as i lost my first 2. I have endometriosis 2 and this leaves u at higher risk of miscarriage. I have discomfort at the moment that varies in degree, its mostly at the side so not directly over the uterus. Is discomfort normal in pregnancy? im so worried as reslly want htis 2 go well as im so close 2 12 wks!! Please could someone advise me, last scan i had looked fine and heartbeat found at 8 wks xx
