IMPLANON IMPLANT

Hi eveyone, I hope some one will able to shed some light on this for me. I had the implanon implant in jan 08 but it made me very ill very quick and I had it removed at the end of Feb 08 i have read that the implant can take about 12 month to be totally out of your system and for your fertility to get back to normal. Is this the case for me as I only had the damn thing in for such a short amount of time ???

Hi. I had my implant for three years, came out middle of nov'08, had AF 2nd Dec and am now 9 weeks pg, so certainly did not affect my fertility at all. Hope it's the same for you especially as you only had it such a short time. Good luck!

I had my implant out early Jan. Fertility should return immediately. This is because the implant does not stop you ovulating like the pill does.
