NHS MaternityLeave

Hi all Does anyone work for the NHS? I am nurse and wondered what the maternity leave is like? I have only recently started working for the NHS mind you. I have tried to google it, and have got some results, but i cant seem to get my head around all the %'s and things, its a tad confusing!!! please help lol x

The maternity leave with the NHS is quite good. Full pay for 8 weeks then 1/2 pay then statutary pay. Your admin department will have all the details. It was lovely getting quite well paid before the baby came and not having to worry too much after either. My admin dept gave me it all in writing so pretty simple to understand.
