I Sharonbean, I'm not a West London Mum but thought I'd respond to you... While you are pregnant and for 1 year after you get all perscriptions and dental care covered on NHS - you should have the card??? Is this not covered for some reason?

Hi Proudmum

Thanks for responding. I have the card and know the dental care should be covered during pregnancy and the susequent year but apparently dental implants are not covered by the NHS. I am currently with a private practise and a friend has recommended an NHS one but I have read up on their site and for the work I need there is still a charge. I am hoping that there is some way out of paying for this as with the forthcoming baby and house move I think I'll go crazy!
