i would like to see where to travel aboard in certain months where its hot but not to hot with a baby
I have a two year old daughter and i've tried everything to get her to stop sucking her thumb. it is really affecting her teeth, top and bottom and the dentist has told me i need to stop her asap as it's affecting the way her jaw is growing. i've tried distracting her, dipping her fingers in lemon juice and vinegar and telling her off but nothing has made any difference. i have recently bought some nail varnish to stop nail biters which has a bitter taste, and this does put her off to a certain extent, but she wakes up hysterical 3 or 4 times a night because she's gone to suck her thumb and got a shock. please help - i was a thumb sucker and had to have an operation on my jaw and braces for nearly 3 years and i don't want my daughter to go through the same thing. thanks. x
be good to put on some stuff about afta the birth & wot happens to ur body, like swelling, pain afta c-sections, stitches, how to cope wiv the pain, signs of postnatal like how u could possibly feel abt urself n baby, what sort of help there is out there, basically all the stuff u dont actually get told abt afta baby is born!
i'd like to see an article about the realities of labour, and the days following the birth, mainly what generally happens in the labour ward because i have no idea what to expect in the slightest! things like how long after giving birth can you shower and change? do the midwives dress ur baby once he/she is clean or do you? whats best to wear for labour? how heavy is the bleeding afterwards, and how long does it take to slow down, if you need stitches how long do they take to heal, does it hurt to go to the toilet afterwards? will i get help to breastfeed? will they let ur family in to see the baby straight after the birth? there seems to be loads about the lead up to labour, and the actually giving birth part, and then plenty on how to look after your baby at home but nothing about the scary bit in the middle!
Thats exactly all the questions I have in my head =D
