Coughs, Colds and Woes!

I'm probably being way too neurotic. But I'm suffing from a really bad chest infection and I'm coughing like crazy. The kind of coughing that is making me get sick if I have a large coughing fit (sorry) So I'm worried I'm hurting my baby in some way. I'm 5 and a half months pregnant. Can't take much to relieve the pain and irritation of it all. (Doc says I can't even have a cough bottle). I know bubs is nicely cushioned in his or her amniotic fluid but surely my breathlessness, coughing and slight temp isn't doing any good. Anyone experience this before? Would really appreciate the advice. Thanks Lola x
