Hi Hun. I had a pregnancy rash that started 2 weeks before the birth. It was never proved but it started when i took iron tablets that had a pink coating. My midwife thought i was maybe sensitive to the ingredients. Are you on any tablets for iron? Calomine lotion worked for me and as soon as i changed my iron tablets after the birth my rash went. Only problem though when i was in labour noone at the hospital would give me an epidural and they wouldn't give me a section incase the rash was something that was infectious to others. Dont put up with the itching hun. It drove me mad at night and i had to keep putting a cold flannel on it to help relieve the itching.

hi, i am not on any tablets for iron it seems to be if i am in a hot room you no if we have the heating on or the fire or if i am in bed even when i am in the shower, on a morning when i am not itchy there is no marks of where i had been itching the night before so maybe it is a heat rash i do sometimes get that but not this bad so maybe it is only bad cos i am pregnant.
