I was also concerned about this so its good to get some information - its such a taboo subject to discuss when you are trying for a baby. It seems that keeping relaxed is really important which I will bear in mind now I am trying for a baby. Good luck n keep us posted!:)
I see this so often with patients who come to my clinic. Try not to worry many women have experienced terminations in the past and have no trouble at all getting pregnant. However occasionally I see women who have had terminations which sometimes can affect them psychologically and emotionally which may affect their ability to conceive. If you are worried, it might be a good idea to get some counseling. Hypnosis and/or CBT Therapy can sometimes help women to remove emotional blocks caused by terminations. However rest assured that most women do conceive following a termination so just try as normal and try not to be concerned.
sorry you had to go through this - i've had 2 myself due to medical reasons. As for ttc a termination shouldn't have any affect on your fertility as i had my 2nd termination in oct 05 & i'm pregnant for the 2nd time since then. However if you are worried speak to your gp> How long have you been trying for?
... for reasons I cannot go into here I was forced to have a termination 10 years ago. My hubby and I are now TTC. I am worried that I will not be able to concieve after having a termination - has anyone experienced any problems or got any advice? thanks
