Hello
I would really appreciate hearing anyone's experience/advice about incompitent cervix. Following the birth of my first daughter I underwent loop excision to remove high grade pre cancer cells and I am concerned that this will in turn result in a weakened cervix. Has anyone had to go through a testing/investigations? I am ready to go see my GP to discuss the aforementioned but as you will have guessed I'm a bit apprehensive.
Thanks so much x
I had the same treatment a few years ago and was told at the time that it will not affect your chances of getting pregnant. I have now got a 17 month old and I'm 24 weeks pregnant, so to answer your question, no it doesn't result in a weakened cervix. Good luck!
Thanks a million for your speedy reply, fingers crossed things will go smoothly. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer.
Cheers
Lisax
