Hi, I know exactly what you are feeling....... a cough or sneeze is like hell on earth for me too. I usually brace myself for the stabbing pain but of course they can pop up unannounced eh? See if I see sneeze while lying down. oh my lord!!!!!!!
I think its just because all our muscles are on overload in the tummy area and the extra pressure in a cough or sneeze really push the limits!! Take care. x

Its getting a bit better now, but I find I am having to bend over and hold my tummy to cough, it’s quite embarrassing! But it’s the only way to stop the pain. Then you have the "I hope I don't pee when this happens!" Legs crossed, holding tummy, bent over! Not drawing any attention to yourself or anything! The things we women do for the Human race ha ha!
And yes your right, if yer lying down! WHOOW! My other two come running in "Mummy, Mummy you ok? is the baby coming?" Bless, well it wont be long now!

Just asking if anyone has done this b4 or if they have any idea on how to help?
I have a real bad chesty cough and the other day I had a coughing fit and pulled a muscle in my stomach. It's really painful when I cough or sneeze, it feels like a hot steel blade being stabbed into my side. Everyone has told me there's nothing I can do or take for it. I have been told to take parcetomol but they don’t help at the best of times. Is there anyone out there who can give me any advice on any relief from this really uncomfortable pain?
