I have been trying for a baby with my Fiancé since September 2007.
I have had 5 miscarriages in the past, two at 6 weeks, one at 8 weeks, one at 9 weeks and one at 14 weeks. I also might have had another in January this year. This was not confirmed.
I suffered (and am still suffering) with depression, post miscarriage. This only gets worse with time as I have yet to conceive. I feel so isolated. My fiancé tries but I know he cant fully understand how I feel. I have loved and miss all of the babies I have lost. I can't explain quite how I feel. It is so painful.
I am currently on Clomid tablets, which personally, I think are useless! In my case so far anyway. I am on my third dosage, and 7th cycle worth of tablets, with another 4 months until i see the doctor again.
I have been on the waiting list for councelling for over 2 years now, and as a result, I have to take a high dosage of anti-depressants everyday.
I have no children. This only makes things harder.
I can't talk to any of my family about it. I am the only one without children.
I have a young niece, born in May 2008. I look after her alot, and this is a constant reminder of how much i crave to become a mother. I find it very hard to separate my feelings of being an Aunt, to trying to become a mother.
I feel like a childless mother. I loved all my babies and I am simply gutted that I didn't have a chance to meet them. I crave a child more than anything in the world and would do anything to become a mum.
I still cry all the time over my miscarriages and don't think that I am over them at all. This just adds to how desperate i am to be a parent.
I find it so hard to cope with not concieving month after month.
I feel for everyone who has experienced these things and i can understand how hard and life changing it is. Please get in touch or comment on my group if you would like to talk and/or share experiences.

As a new member I'm not sure how this totally works but I'll give it ago. My name is Donna and I am 22 I have a fiance who is 29 and we have been trying to conceive for over a year now. I suffer with very irregular periods and I think it runs in my family as my mum has the same problem and so do a couple of my sisters. I have been to the doctors numerous times about this but they wouldn't help, but now me and my partner of 4 years have been trying for quite a while we decided to involve our doctor. She seemed surprised we haven't conceived due to my age and seemed very reluctant to help. She has took some swabs and now we have to wait another 2 weeks before she will let me know whether she will help or not. :/ Good look to all the people out there trying to conceive!! I hope it comes soon to you!! xx

We have been TTC for 16 months now. We went for out first IUI on Friday (5 March). Now the waiting begins :-)

Hi ladies, I have just been reading all of your posts and I know how you all feel. My partner and me tried for a baby for 11yrs, we found out that I have polycystic ovaries. We had 6 attempts at IUI (fertility treatment not so invasive or expensive as IVF, and a lot of ladies only need IUI but are not offered it), sadly we had 2 m/c but on our 6th go we succeeded, we have now got 21wk old twins, a bot and girl. Please girls don't give up I know only too well how tiring emotionally and physically it is. I am 42yrs old now and wanted to give up so many times but my partner and fertility doctor kept me positive and I am so glad they did. Good luck girls my heart goes out to you all, Debbie xx

im 22 n me n my hubby have been tryin for nearly a year in aug. we already have a baby girl who is 21 months.i just dont understand y its takin soo long im glad i found this website as it has been a help already. for all u ladies that have had m/c it must be soo hard and u r so brave u just gotta keep tryin n maybe we will all have our little ones soon xxx

Havent logged on for a couple of months but thought i'd check back to see how people were getting on.... we are still trying for a baby and was wondering if anyone else was having the same issues.....
Me and my HB have been trying since June 08 and have since found out that my HB has a very low sperm count and also very high motility which was devistating. We have had a load of tests and have found out that as far as they can tell everything seems to be fine within me so we have been told that we will need IVF treatment. We have an appointment with a specialist in April so am waiting for that to see what our next steps are, is anyone else going through a similar situation??

Hi , feeling a bit down lately ,so thought I would put into words how Im feeling. been trying for 9 long months to have a baby . 4 people within the family and close friends have all had their babies and its just so hard emotionally to see all the babies . Sure Im very happy for them but Im feeling ... Yes Jealous !!! Im asking myself why cant I be pregnant . My younger sister is due any day now and although I cant wait to meet my new Niece or Nephew Im angry because it should be me . I think I am just a bit bitter at the moment and needed to get that off my chest . Sometime life is just so unfair , and what also winds me up to the max is these women who have countless children and dont look after them properly they get taken into care yet these women carry on having children and what life do these poor souls have . beaten abused and drugged we hear about it all too often these days and its a very sad and evil world sometimes . sorry about the moan , I feel slightly better now . hi hun dont lose hope it took me a year to concieve my girls and 4 months to get pregnant with my last child everyone is different if it was made easy for everyone to get pregnant the world would be over run with kids dont give up i too have been trying for baby no4 for 9 months good luck
