Stupid question maybe I'm just a bit paranoid

When I asked about calpol everyone was such a mine of information that I thought you might be able to help me out again! I don't want to be insensitive to anyone who's finding it difficult to get pregnant, I hope you all get good news soon. But I've got a 6 month old and I think I might be just paranoid or possibly pregnant again. If I am then I'm definitely 5 months (tmi - sorry) but I did buy a pregnancy test about 2 months ago (when I'd have been 3 months). It came up negative, but I read the packet and it says hcg is raised in EARLY pregnancy. Is it possible to get a negative test at 3 months pregnant because it's not early enough? Hopefully, I am just fat and very greedy!!!!

I don't have any symptoms it's just hard to tell whether my belly is big because I've not lost my baby fat yet... Also I've not started my periods again which makes it double hard to tell - I'm breastfeeding and I'm not sure if it's normal that they haven't come back yet? I think I will buy myself another test this week though that's probably the best idea. Thanks.
Lol thx 4 the request and the message :D
Im guessing u aint a preghead again then? x

my periods came back about 8 weeks after giving birth but I'm pretty sure it takes longer if you're breastfeeding and it takes a long time for some people. I was told though that you're super fertile just after you've had a baby. I'd get another test to make sure! =]

when I found out I was pregnant I was about 3 months and the test came up positive but it was pretty faint, I only did one though. I am in a very similar situation to you and have already done 2 tests a week each apart which reassured me I wasn't but I'm now feeling I possibly am again!
