Hi all. My midwife is making a home visit tomorrow which will be my third appointment. This is the second mw I've seen as at the booking in appointment u can opt to go under 2 different hospitals. She seems really nice although was unabl to do my bloods as kept missing the vein. Sorry for tmi :-( a nurse at my doctors has kindly offered to do my bloods thursda after mypin cushion experience.
Bit peed off about scan as still no date from hospital although requested 3 weeks ago. Wished I'd though about private cover before bfp!
Hi ladies, i went to the docs when i was 1 day late after a bfp. i was 4 weeks then, didnt even see the midwife until january when i was nearly 11 weeks! Then she booked my scan and i wasnt due to have that til i was 14 weeks, quite disgusting really when your told before 10 weeks and 12 weeks for your scan! Not only that, but the midwife i see now wont even be at the hospital when i go into labour and i thought the whole point of her was someone you learn to trust and then enjoy her company at the hospital? Plus shes rubbish and not very helpful but never mind! Guess i cant be too picky! xx
lol ive had/seen about 7 midwives now.( thought there was meant 2 be a shortage at the mo? :D) Ive finally got 1 that is really lovely and local thank god!!

Hi Everyone, How long did everyone wait on a Midwife appointment. Mines feels like it is taking ages. Maybe it just because when I went to the docs they said I was only 5 weeks and not 7. Now I am 7 or 8 and it feels like its taking ages to hear from anyone. xx
i went into docs when i was about 5 weeks to get a confirmation (as my tests were positive but a bit vague) and now i have my first midwife apt at 10 weeks, though i know people who went in at about 6 and others who went in at 12, its not just down to the area you are but also the individual GP surgery! i hope you hear soon!

Think i'll have to have a scan to find out- so god knows how long i'll have to wait for that! I only had 1 period in the 8 months of trying, so it's anyones guess really. How long you had a BFP? My husband is the same with the waiting thing- he wants to go shopping already!!!
