The theory is great but I hope that it is completely secure for parents of children that are in that day etc. Could be open to some unpleasantness (or however you spell it). I take the fact my son is always to excited when we arrive, reaching out for hugs of the girls that work there and being knackered after a day full of fun as a brilliant sign! It is a great curiosity to know what they are up to and how they are looked after but if you follow your instincts on the feel of a nursery when you arrive and watch how your child reacts you wont go far wrong!!!
good idea! but i think i would get carried away and check what she was doing all the time, you could become too obcessed with watching all the time.
erm dont no how my post ended up on this page! sorry guys! it said this was magical moments!! obviously more site problems!! oops!
as regards the topic, i think its a good idea! can help put mums mind at rest, but on the other hand, will working mums get into trouble at work for going & checking on there child whilst at work?! you know what some employers are like! but i do think its a good idea for definate! x

A while ago a Nursery in my old town that i used to live in had a webcam installed so parents at work could log on and check there child. It was on the local news about 6 months ago. Personally i think it's a good idea in a nursery but a nanny living in your own home i'm not to sure about that. Would give peace of mind o suppose but why employ someone that you dont trust?
A French nanny has installed a webcam in her nursery so that parents can see what their children are up to while they're at work. She's done it to reassure them that their children are being properly cared for. Not everyone thinks it''s a good idea, however. The National Federation of Maternal Assistants are opposed to the webcam as they see the camera as intrusive. What are your thoughts? Do you think the camera's a good idea?
