A new guide, by The Children's Society, is emphasising the importance of parents spending quality time with their children at Christmas. Some parents tend to over-compensate, perhaps because they both work and don't see their kids much, by lavishing numerous presents on them at Christmas. However, what children really want and need is quality time with their parents. The message of this guide is that parents should simplify things and focus on fun activities with their children, rather than spending their precious time buying endless gifts for them. What are your thoughts? Do you agree that quality time is far more important than buying the latest gadgets for your little ones?
