Hi Zoey
No nothing this weekend. Paul is at work so its just me and the kids. I've my sister coming around tommorow but other than that i arn't doing anything.Quite boring really and i got to admit i'm a bit bored myself.Yesterday i had my friend round in the afternoon and i was on such high because i had adult conversation that i'm on a downer today lol. When Kelsey gets up from her nap i'm going to take the kids out for a walk to the park so jak can kick a ball around. Seems crazy staying in doors when the suns out even though its cold. Tommorow its going to throw it down with rain so we'll have to be in then.
When do you have your next scan? Is it about 20 weeks like it is around here? I found that after my 12 weeks scan there was a gap in midwife care until i got to 20 weeks i didn't see anyone.

hey Andrea,
20 week scan is on march the 4th, hope to find out the baby sex then,if he co-operates,lol.
i have my midwife on the 24th of this month, so hopefully not too much of a gap.
yeah its cold, but thats why coats were invented the fresh air is good for them both.
i must admit im worried about the lack of adult conversation though with oli(my partner) its like living with a kid,lol.
to be serious he has been so good, i didnt imagine him to be so helpful, with housework, the cats, cooking,washing and he is soooo excited about the baby, we were driving back from my mums the other night and he just goes 'I really love our baby already' which sirprised me as i expected him to be a bit less intrested. made me happy though.

my mum says babies grow at diff rates and they just put it in a catergry(cant spell).
are u doing anything good this weekend?

It would put a dampner on your feelings about the two empty sacs that they found. It would anyone.I've seen your scan pic hun its a good image as some little ones just look like a blob and nothing else. I can tell where the head, body and even a leg is so it was a very good picture.They can get dates wrong so dont be supprised if the next time you go for a scan your back to the weeks you know you are. Mine kept changing at every scan yet they were both planned down to day more or less even when the midwife did her checks the dates were always out by a week.Kelsey was 1 day over due and Jak was 1 week over due.

i havent been to work since monday im sick all morning and so tired!
still a bit itred and queasy but its passing, may go in for a few hours tomorrow.
going to see my parents later so my dad should help cheer me up, my mum says im probably feeling sad cause im 'maurning' cant spell the empty sacs and feel deflated when the scanner put me back a week which is a physical impossibility. xxxxxxxx

god, how strange!! i could do with you having a look at mine and telling me what it is!!!
Sophie is an odd name for a cat!!!!!!!!!! what on earth inspired that?? he he. I have no experience whatsoever with babies so I cant comment on that!!! I am the youngest in my whole extended family, No younger cousins or anything growing up! I am ok with kids (apart from my lovely step-daughter!! he he) but newborn babies scare me a bit!! I think babies are adorable but I dont usually hold them untill they are at least 6 months in fear I will break them! ha ha. Not sure how good a mother I will be but I really want this baby so Im sure I will learn!! Worry sometimes that I will be like my own mum (havnt seen her in about 10 years) she was always a bit - erm, mental?!!! wasnt too bad to me but was awful to my sister - nothing like abuse or anything, just real moody and unpredictable!! I really want to be the sort of mum that my kids can approach and tell anything to!!! I suppose if I am concious of it then I can avoid it!! Who knows!! Are you close to your mum??
I agree that some things need to bought new! Only things I would really get 2nd hand are Monitors, toys, maybe a moses basket and buy a new matress for it (depending on the look of the seller) ya know, stuff like that!! No point really buying clothes coz you can get em dead cheap places like sainsburys and asdas etc! Just trying to keep costs down where I can!!!
Sorry, Im waffling on now!! My brain tends to go faster than my fingers can type!! Im worse on the phone!! He he. You will be sorry I started a conversation with you!!!!!!

thats cool love, both my cats sophie and doug are rescue cats, i didnt name them. lol
me and my mum wernt close til about a year ago and i feel so lucky that she is on cloud line about baby and my dad too.iv been surrounded by kids and babies from the age of about 11 i had new borns shoved on me. 1 of my cousins sons who is 8 next moth suffers from adha,epilepsy,hips displasia and autism was practically mine from day 1 he lived in my room from 3days until almost 4 years old was hard giving him back to his parents they just couldnt handle him but hes a great kid now and come on leaps and bounds. his parents r divorced but his mum does so well with him and her other 2.
we are trying to cut cost as much as we can as ill have to go on maternity leave at like 32weeks and money will be tight!!!!

to me tiger lily is a p/star or glamour model, no thank you. my 12week scan looks like a boy, im pretty good at knowing, 2 of my friends r expecting 1s 25wks now and the others 21wks and i told them both at 12 weeks what they were having and i was right!lol
car boots are a good idea, just sterilise stuff like u say.
it is cheeky to ask but why not love, if they aint using it and u can, though i would buy sterilising equipment brand new tho and bottles ect.
i just find boys easier, girls are much more demanding in my experience but if we get a girl then we get a girl! xxxxx

Archie is cute and I never used to like oskar but it is really growing on me!!I find it so annoying though when people say - "oo, what ya gonna call it" so you tell em, and they go "oo no, you cant call it that, I knew a really naughty little boy called that!!" It really winds me up, They shouldnt ask if they are gonna criticise the answer!! so rude!!! he he. My stepdaughter ( she is ten and called sophie) wants to call ours tiger-lilly if its a girl!! ha ha. not quite sure i could get away with it in a town like Barton!! I do think its cute though!! I find it really hard coz you have to think about when they are older!! cant really see a 30 year old, ultra successfull company directer called Tiger-Lilly!!! he he. I love love love the name Ruby but my mother in law has just got a puppy and called it ruby!! he he.
You are so lucky to have someone give you all their stuff!!! I am thinking about sending a message round all my friend with kids asking if they or their friends have 2nd hand stff they want to sell me!! Do you reckon thats really cheeky?? Was also thinking about car-boot sales!!! I suppose stuff like toys and that, you can just sterilize and disinfect!!! dont know - think I would have to see what the people are like who are selling it!!! I think you can usually tell who is decent and who is minging!!! he he. What do you reckon? Why so sure it will be a boy?? Is that what you want?? Its weird, I have no idea what mine will be. On one hand I would quite like a boy coz dan already has Sophie so it would be nice, If I cant have his first child, to at least have his first boy!! on the other hand, girls wear nicer stuff!! he he. started showing about 7/8 weeks,my blokes called oliver, i love the name but he doesnt.
we want a boy and are pretty sure we have a boy so he will be either Archie-James,david or Oskar something.lol. we cant agree on girls names, i want ruby but oli wants tiger lily or calypso which r def no no's. are sirname is brew so its hard to get names that sound right. yes we r going to find out sex as if its a girl we both will have to get used to it, we have already bought a few thing but actually dont need much as my best friends little boy(my godson) will be 1 3 days b4 this one is due so we are having all his baby stuff as she isnt having anymore due to a kidney default, so that helps!
my dads so excited hes buying the pram and anything else he see's, bless. i like daisy but oli doesnt. everywhere we go everyone tries to name lil bubba but i already am set on Archie-james and ruby. lol. xx
