Hi there. I’m, a representative from Gurgle.com. We are currently looking for case studies who are happy to speak to journalists about their experiences as mothers. We think the members of this group would be of particular interest to real life magazines. If you would like to volunteer yourself to tell your story, please send a message to lily.fallala@taylorherring.com and megan.kircaldie@taylorherring.com

Unless your baby seems distressed, I wouldn't put anything on them. Lots of newborns have these spots; they're really common. If you really want to put something on them, maybe speak to your health visitor? She might be able to suggest something.
Just to reassure you that our little treasure also has spots at the moment. They started at two weeks and as I understand it, they will last as long as they last. It's poor timing of course as we are getting out so much more and you just want them to remain perfect. The key thing we found is that they don't bother him and so we need to just get on with it. I understand some babies get them really bad and others not at all. Part of the journey ;)
Best wishes
Hi, I have a ten month old baby. When she was newborn she was also quite spotty, but it cleared up when she was about two months. I think it's qute normal for them to have spots when they're just born as they're adjusting to their surroundings.
Hi my baby got 'acne' too, he is my first so hadn't got a clue! I spoke to my midwife and she said it was just the hormones and they would clear up around 8-10 weeks old, which indeed they did. I just cleaned his face every morning and night with cotton wool and water but if i remember rightly i could use a moisturiser cream but i didn't. I found no one mentioned the spots when i went out they were too excited about such a new born baby!
