Hi, I would go back to the doctor so they can check her over and listen to her chest as the antibiotics may need to be changed if they are not working as antibiotics normally have a noticeable effect after 3 days. I would say its best to go now rather than wait as it could get worse and the last thing you want at christmas is to rush about finding an emergency doctor. hi, can someone give me advise, my 13mnth has a chest infection and been on antibiotics for 4 full days, but her coughing hasnt stopped and shes still being sick due to the coughing, should i take her bk to the dr or wait bearing in mind xmas is nextweek, thanks
