Just thought i'd let everyone know,i've not been on here for a while,but we had our 12 week and nuchal scan on fri and everything was fine and normal! i'm over the moon and still find it hard to believe we have got to this milestone! After 3 m/c can't believe i'm gonna be a mummy in nov! They changed my due date which i'm told is normal! I'm still to scared to buy anything...should i start?

Yay, that's brilliant news and don't worry, they changed my due date at the 12 week scan too!! Once we knew all was ok we went a little mad and now have the nursery fully decorated and only have the cotbed to buy but as we have bought a crib and a moses basket we are going to wait for the cot until the bubs is a few months old plus we can't fit anything else in the nursery!!! And it's only been 2 weeks since our 12 week scan, lol, so you start buying as soon as you want to girl!!! :) xx

Congratulations! Well done on making it this far, it's so amazing to see the baby and get past 12 weeks. I didn't start buying for my first until after the 20 week scan as I wanted to know the sex and have that extra reassurance of knowing everything was as it should be but I think it's really a personal choice when to start!
aww thats great news. it's such a relief to find no problems. ive got my 12 week scan on wednesday and i'm really excited but also sooo nervous and this is my third baby!
you could start getting stuff you will need like sleepsuits, bottles, sterilizer e.t.c go and enjoy shopping for the little person!!

congratulations those 1st weeks up until the 12 wk scan can feel like an eternity can't they especially if you find out very early. i bet your over the moon. i was scared to buy things for my babies as i had a few probs early on but finally started with some little bits n bobs wen i was about 20 wks i think but u start buying whenever you feel ready once you start u won't wanna stop! all the best x sarah
