Toddlers playing up when feeding baby!? Help!

Hi everyone, (as some of you might know!) im pregnant with twins, and worried about feeding! One of my best friends had a few complications with her birth and now has a few problems in the lady area, unfortunately her late husband was in the army and was killed, she has no other family so i offered to look after her 4 month old once or twice a week while she goes to the hospital, when i feed him my 2 toddlers play up quite a lot as they know i cant do anything whilst feeding the baby. They snatch toys off each other, hit things, put photos down etc theyre normally really well behaved but they know i cant do anything so they play up then look at me and smile sweetly. Feeding twins is going to be hard as it is without the girls playing up, has anyone else had experience or had the same problem? PLEASE reply, as its going to be really tricky! Thankyou! x

I have seen the room divider things I think Lindmans (can't quite remember the spelling and have a had a glass of wine!!LOL) do one but that sounds like a great idea! I wish you the best of luck- i struggle with one little 'angel'!!!!!
That way i can have my own time with the triplets and then when they're (triplets) asleep its their (indy and Isla) time!
Aww i do make my girls sound like theyre really naugty, bless them! Theyre really not its just indy especially is pretty clever to know that when im feeding a baby she can do things without being told off. If i do tell her off by just saying something she just starts laughing which really annoys me cos she just stands there still doing it and laughin! Theyre actually being really good with the baby now and help me feed him and hold him, and when im holding him indy comes up and strokes and kisses him which is really cute! - Also found her 'burping' one of her teddies the other day, rubbing it on the back then she made a funny noise (pretending it burped) and then gave it some more bottle! Was very cute, i put a bib off Isla's dolly onto it and she sat there for ages feeding and burping it.

But i think i'll still get a room divider to go across the room into the conservatory - half the room then into conservatory if that makes sence, then they have their own space away from screaming babies! :) xxx

Isla in 3 in june and Indy is 18/19 months. They'd probably stick their heads through the bars! And rattle on the cage like monkeys in a zoo haha!
But i think i will definitely get one, you can get them with like a soft roof thing to stop them climbing out, or would that be a bit cruel (they are for childen haha lol)!

I dont think it will be getting much better, with triplets on the way, they definitely need a play pen!
Or i've seen on a programme where someone put like stair gate barriers right across 1 half of a huge room with all their toys in it, will have to research it - they can strop all they want in there!
I dont think theres any point trying to do the naughty step with this, they need to learn that when the babies are being fed or changed etc then they've got to be good, and that they cant have my attention all the time.
Thanks so much xx

I dont know how old your little ones are but maybe buy 2 play pens and plonk one in each with a few toys! However I have a feeling they might climb out as they seem to have a mischevious streak!
Besides that all I can say is you are doing a great job for your friend- i hope things improve for her soon!
