Hi, from what i was told sugar water is as it says, water mixed with some sugar. I used infacol, but it is something that only works when given at every feed and it has to be taken for several days for it to have an effect.

Hi, i think this is just another name for gripe water but i may be wrong? Gripe water does work but sometimes it is difficult to give it to my baby cos he's crying so much from the wind pains that he chokes when I give it to him! Have u been using Infacol? it's very good for helping to bring up wind. U need to give it before every feed.
Hiya, has anyone heard of giving a baby sugar water as a remedy for trapped wind? I think I remember being adcised against it in ante natal classes but I cannot remember fully what was said.
