Hiya, im 22 weeks pregnant with twin girls but yesterday i had some bleeding in the night so i went for a scan today to make sure everything was okay. But it wasnt like a foetal scan if that makes sence?! It was just one to see what was going on with the bleeding. Was all fine, but the person goes oh my! your going to have your hands full with 3! And i thought she must have ment my 2 at home (how she would know i dont know?!) and then this 1. and i was like No i'll have 4 when i have these 2, and she looked at me like i was stupid and she was like no i mean 3 babies, i had that horrible nervousy feeling and i was like no im having twins! So she went to go and get a proper person for a baby scan but there isnt one til tomorow. She came back and i was like so it might just be something you saw and she goes yes but i have done scans before with multiple births, and i know what triplets look like, but like you say i might have just seen something - then said sorry etc.
Could there really be triplets or is she just crazy?! Surely they would have noticed it but i've only really had 2 quick proper scans and the scanning people didnt really seem to know what they were doing. Im really nervous and shaky, not because im scared i just need to know.
Can anyone PLEASE give me some advice if this women had just seen things, it sounds ridiculous to me. But i have read stories where this has happened. help! xx
Will definitely come on after scan to let you all know the news! And hopefully find out whether they're all girlys :)

22 bloody weeks! Cant believe they could've missed it. But i suppose its easier for the third to hide behind other 2! So exciting! x

OMG -- have just had a call from my midwife, whos lovely bless her. Shes just been called by the hospital and they've looked at some pictures of my scans. She had some big news! There is about 80 percent chance theres triplets as they think they might be able to see the third! She said they havnt given much information as they never normally do this kind of thing but they thought because they think its been hiding they should tell me. To make sure, theyre doing an emergancy (just called that because they want to get me in early! lol) scan first thing tomorow morning!!! She said she thought she'd better ring quickly , and she just said make sure everything is ready - with 3 loads of everything in case, because pregnancies are earlier!!!!! OH GOD.
Thought i would let you guys know first!! LOL
