Well me n OH havebeen ttc for 1 year yday!!. Periods are still really irregular since i can off the pill so had blood test which came back fine so doc sent me fie scan which showed I have PO. So I have now been refered to fertility clinic on 25th Nov !! So a lot of you have been there n done that so any advise would be great!Will I still need to have more tested??N will OH have to have any? doc said about tablets to make me ovulate will I get them when i go or will i have to wait?After waiting a yr really want things to happen sooner rather than later thanks n GL XXX
Hi there - I am new here but not new to IF - we have been trying for 9 years. After 5 failed rounds of OI and one IUI which had to be abandoned we have been classed as Infertile and are now awaiting referral to Bourne Hall. Looking forward to getting to know everyone xxx
Just thought i'd let people know I went for my injection training for ivf today, was really pleased I managed to do the injection, now all I have to do is wait for day1. xc

Im due af tomorrow TMI I know but I had a large lump of jelly like cervical fluid this morning and then a smaller one a bit later Im hoping its my cervical plug forming but its prob just wishful thinking. xxx
Well we signed all the forms and as soon as its day 1 I can ring the hospital and see if they will take me-not always got room. Hopefully the ivf will work for us. Has anone had any success stories with ivf???
Although my partner and Ihad both got children by previous relationships we wanted one of our own.
We contacted Care Fertility in January this year and went to an info night in March with a consultation meeting in May,then had to wait till the time was right..had lots of jabs on my protocol..ER/ICSI IVF/ET was at the end of Aug and I am now 7weeks pregnant : ) still early days but still hopeful. It cost us £6.5k and we have 4 frosties if we need another go!
Don't give up hope it can work.
I have an early scan next week to trace heartbeat(s), hoping to find out how many beans are cooking.

Congrats (if thats the right word) for the IVF ladies. You both must have been given a life line with loads of hope thrown in. We have been told that we are not elligable for IVF as I already have a daughter from a previous relationship which i think is so so wrong as now i feel my fella is being persicuted for my past and now I have to trya nd deal with guilt as well as everything else!! We have been told that we have 6 cycles of clomid left after this one then we are on our own. The nurse said we should start saving for IVF just incase. Thats a laugh we are only a low income working family trying to save for our wedding and look after my daughter and keep a roof over our heads £5000 at least seems impossible at the mo, but hopefully we wont get to that point. So keep me posted with both your progress and good luck to you both with all the love in the world xxxxx

Hi all TTCers sorry i havent been on lately but just been trying to keep away from all baby as I have been stuggling to cope a bit. But thought I should message on here as it seems no one is talking anymore and this is what I set this group for. So i will fill everyone in on my current situation. I have finished my 4th cycle of clomid (the side effects seem to have disappeared now) Had my follical tracking scan on tuesday and to my upset I only have 1 egg this month instead of the usual 2/3 so feel very about the fact that we really only do have 1 chance of conception this month and if we cant do it with 2/3 eggs what hope do we have with one!!! But DP and I have kept to the every other night rule and must admit we have had fun this month!! I have had alots of very severe ovulation pains and struggled abit sometimes but they seem to be dying down now after 4 days which seems abit long if you ask me. SO now we are on the longest ever 2 week to hell and back bit of the month. So will continue with the obbsessive prg syp spotting and hope above all hopes we have finally been given the blessing of a beautiful baby. Hope this will spark off others supporting each other again as we all need it from time to time. Take care all and good luck with TTC xx
Good luck with your ttc. Tomorrow I have my app with the ivf clinic to discuss my treatment, sign forms and then when they are able to take me actual treatment. I know this may take a few months but can't believe we're actually nearly there. xc
