What milk are you using? I could not breast feed and used powder SMA gold which gave my little boy awful constipation. HV suggested using the ready made SMA gold as it has more( or might be less, cant remember which!) lactose in it which helps with the bowel movement. We tried many things before this including water, fresh orange juice, massage and nothing worked apart from the milk. Hope this helps, let me know how you get on.

This happens to us all the time! Try baby massage. It really helps us. There are a couple of techniques which I learned at a baby massage course. I'm sure if you looked them up online you would find some suggestions and advice about which massage oil to use. Doesn't work EVERY time, but I'm sure it gets things moving most of the time and we both enjoy it! Our baby is a little older though, so do research whether it's OK for you to do on such a young baby. Good luck!

you could try some boiled and cooled water - extra fluids can help to get things moving gently.

Hi, i'm not sure there is anything you can do at this young age, it was a regular thing for my baby not to go for 4-6 days at a time, my HV just told me it was fine and it will be an 'explosion' when it did!! and she was right! Just get in touch with your HV for piece of mind.Hope it helps, i got use to carrying spare everything just in case.
