we did managed to get it sorted thought it could be a touch of reflux as he throws up no matter how much he's had ... but we dunno as he's putting on weight fine and looks healthy.
anyway he's been on the aptamil easy digest for about 2/3 months now and recently he's started drinking 6-7oz (so a full bottle) when before he would only have 4-5oz ..
also started weaning him at 4 months which my hv said was fine to do ..
he's doing well with both food and milk ..
but still throwing up most of the time .. i guess i'll just have to hope he grows out of it.
my boyfriend suggested that. i just made him 6oz to see how he is with that.
i think it could maybe be because he's always throwing up a lot of his milk.
omg that sounds so like my lol! he will scream in such a paddy like we are hurting him!its awful sometimes!
like previously suggested though I used to feed him a little then he would start messing, like chewing the teat so I would wind him, change his bum then give him the rest, and it worked, now he drinks a full bottle of 8 and thats it for 5 hours or so.
Good luck, I hope you got it sorted!

My daughter is a bit like this but she has reflux - I tend to feed her on and off then take her up to change her then feed her again. She tends to take a bit more after that! You could make up 2 4 oz bottles and if he doesn't want the 2nd then keep this in the fridge until his next feed.
I also found giving my LO the dummy when she was acting up settled her then she would take the bottle again. Good luck xxxx

have you tried giving him his milk when he gets bored changing his nappy then offering him the milk back again he might just need i little break in between, i use to do this with my son as he would often fall asleep and not drink his milk, i know its a different situation but you can only try.

my son is a pain sometimes. he's 14weeks old with a proper temper .. so when he's hungry he screams his head off (you'd think we were starving him!!)
anyway we make him 8oz of formula (he was on cow and gate hungrier but it gives him tummy ache so we're gradually changing him over to aptamil) .. the thing is he'll only have a few onces (occassionly he'll have all 8oz).. then stop and be really chirpy .. then after a bit he'll want it again. (cycle keeps repeating .. hungry-stop-happy-hungry-stop-happy) i'll end up pouring it away and he'll scream for it again after not wanting it ....
any suggestions ..
i suppose i should maybe cutdown on how much i'm making .. =/
