working full time and a mum

I'm planning to start studying to be an accountant in september and by the time i finish (it will take me four years) will be about to start school. but i'm also hoping to have had another baby during the four years (so second baby will be about 3 and can hopefully go to nursery) but there will be times when me and OH won't be able to meet kids from school/nursery. How do you get around that? We have grandparents to help but one pair aren't very mobile and the other work til quite late themselves.

i think the course i will be doing is just studying at a college but there isn't much information on their website or in their prospectus and they never email me back or answer their phone. i'm hoping to work out getting pregnant so the baby will be born during the summer hols but i won't be trying til after i start the course so if it looks like i won't be able to manage i can always reschedule my plans for another baby.

i'm probably being naive but why would it be disrupted? the course is at a college and in the evenings so hopefully won't be disrupted by sickness. i know it won't be easy but i'm sure i can cope
by work based learning i mean the college will expect you to have a job in an accounts possition.

the majority of accountancy courses are work based learning, and as you are trained through a college supported through work you can only attend a set amount of days (10- theses are called KIT days) while on materninty leave or you will lose your maternity pay, obviosly this only applies if you are working at the time, i don't know if the same applies for training on maternity allowance. also exams are in June and december and if your baby is due around then you are likely to miss the exam and have to wait to be able to take it. i hope i'm making sence, if not feel free to fire more questions at me.

i am currently doing my second year AAT and i'm five and a bit month's pregnant with my first baby. i just wanted to say that if you are planning on attending a college to do your corse it may be disrupted if you get pregnant again and therefor take you longer, i'm due September i have just finished the first unit and i will miss the second it is in september, i will be able to do the january unit but then will have to wait till next september to finish. aghhh nightmare, i'm sure it will be worth it in the end though. i'm worried about childcare too, we can't afford for me to give up work and i wouldn't want to either not with all the hard work i'm doing to get qualified. both sets of grandparents work full time and nurseries around here are £200 a week, as a trainee my salary isn't fantastic so we are hoping to find a childminder for a more reasonable price, i'm stressing about it already but i won't even need childcare till this time next year, i just don't know where to start.
