I'm 10 weeks with my 2nd baby and i'm worried that this one will be bigger than the first who was 9lb3oz and he was too big to come out by himself!!
I didn't really show untill about 20 weeks but i'm large so ppl just thought i had put on weight!!
I'm 1 dress size bigger this time round but watching everything I eat!!
Sometimes babies are smaller, my friends first was 9.2 and her second was 7.9 so it gives me hope!!
Bring it on! lol
My eldest was 11 lb
second was 9 lb 12oz
Third was 9 lb 8oz
And my last was 11 lb 11oz
First 3 were natural, last one was a crash C because of prolapsed cord. No one listened to me when i told them he would be big, and they let me go 2 weeks over which i thought was very wrong.
Now im 21 weeks pregnant with another boy and i am going to request a c section. I know my own body, i know i make them big lol (im a slim size 12 normally but am 6ft tall), and i know this one will be big also. To all those mums scared of giving birth naturally to a giant? its really not a big deal to any other birth. My first was an average 19 hr labour and my others 'flew' out.

As you know from your previous pregnancies, second and third pregnancies show much earlier than the first – so it is not surprising that number four would show even earlier. Think of blowing a balloon up – once it has been blown up it never quite goes back to its original shape. Lots of things can affect how big your bump is during pregnancy. You haven’t said how long it is since your last pregnancy and whether or not you’ve had time to get back into shape and maintain your weight within the healthy weight range.
Weight gain should start during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy and is often different from woman to woman. Many factors affect how much weight you may, or may not put on including: your age, your weight before conception and the number of previous pregnancies. All of these factors mean that bumps and babies can be perfectly healthy even though they are very different sizes, however there are increased risks to both you and your baby if you are gaining too much weight. Talk to your midwife who can measure you and be honest with yourself, is your bump much bigger than you would expect, or are you putting on weight too quickly? If you find your appetite has increased and you are gaining too much weight try having healthy snacks such as fruit and low fat yogurt in-between meals. Add bulk to meals with such things as salad and extra vegetables to help you to feel full without adding excessive calories and drink water regularly throughout the day. The foods to eliminate from the diet are those that are high in fat and/or sugar, e.g. cakes, biscuits, processed foods like pasties, sugary fizzy drinks and crisps. Further advice for healthy eating can be found at www.eatwell.gov.uk/agesandstages/pregnancy .Light exercise such as walking or swimming is also beneficial to support appropriate weight gain during pregnancy, remember to start off gradually and build up slowly. Exercising with somebody else is a good way to stay motivated.
I deliverd my gorgeous daughter naturally at 11lb 11oz, i knew i could be having a big baby when at 10 days overdue the head was fully engaged but i had a left foot deep into my ribs. my baby is also well above for her height she is now 4 months and in the 98 percntile.
I was told not to worry that my baby wasnt going to be big etc and that i didnt need any scans to check size etc...I went through natural labour to have difficulty at the last push etc only had two stitches where they made a small cut to avoid a tear.. they then said maybe we should have offered you a c section!! I was a petite size ten pre preg, but am struggling to get my stomach back especially after carrying my mini sumo wrestler around....I am dreading having another baby in case they are any bigger!!!
Good luck hun xx

I have 3 girls and about to have 4th girl any day (overdue already!) my first was on time and 7lb 4ozs and i tore so had stitches with her- which hurt more than i would have thought! my second was 8 days late and 8lb 7ozs i had 1 stitch-just as a precaution- she came with my waters so sort of slid out and was the easiest of the 3! my third was 14 days late so i had my waters broken- she was 8lb 3ozs and the hardest work as my waters had completely gone and i was pushing for longer! but no stitches-this one is now 2 days late and counting- had a membrane sweep yesterday so just waiting now! don't feel as big this time- probably about same as first or high 7lb mark! I didn't mind having bigger babies, they aren't always harder to deliver, it is sometimes better as babies sometimes loose a little shortly after birth- so bigger babies can afford to! plus mine were all winter babies so were well insulated!!
I thought mine were big at 8lb 1oz and 8lb 4oz!!
I daren't think what the weight of my next child will be if I ever have any more. My little bruiser is 20 weeks old today and weighing in at 20lbs now so needless to say, I have arms like popeye!!
