need advice

Hi. I have been trying for 3.5 yaers to have a baby. We were told we needed IVF treatment to conceive. However at the start of april we discovered we were expecting. I had a scan two weeks ago at roughly 7 weeks. They diagnosed blighted ovum and we are heartbroken. I have no pain or bleeding and i still have symptoms, tiredness and tender breasts but no sickness. I am so confused. Has anyone ever experienced this.
