from cot to bed

every child is different and some are ready at 18 months and some arent. you might find your LO is ready before then. im bout to change lily's cot to a bed- just need t otrack down her daddy and leep him here long enough for him to do something bout it! x x

hi i put my son in a little junior bed when he was 18 months old and he was fine.never fell out of it and i didnt have all the messing about with him climbing out of it as he was only just waliking then aswell were as i think if id a left it another year or so i think he would have messed about getting up n down.i got mine from argos it has small sides on it am sure they still have it now i got it bout 4 years ago and he just grown out of it end a last year and now has a propper single bed and he ok i think the earlier you do it the better.good luck.xx

My Mum had me in a bed when I was 10months, I think as long as its a low bed with a side guard she will be ok try using the quilt from her cot so she recognises the smell and doesn't get scared in her new bed. good luck xxx

me and my OH are planning to move our daughter from her cot to a bed over christmas when she will be about 18 months old is that too young.
