I know this question is a little silly but i just had to ask, i'm using ovulation sticks each month that i bought from ebay (fertility plan) and every month (fingers crossed) i get a BFP the thing is (apart from still not being preggs yet lol) is there anyway your tubes could still be blocked or is there any other "thing" that could be wrong in that area and would still show a BFP anyway on the ovulation test strips, or would it be the case if nothing is wrong at all you would get the BFP and if something was wrong you would be getting BFN's.
I'm sorry i havnt worded it properly but i hope you can understand what i'm trying to ask lol just a silly question rolling arond my helpless mind

hey, you can use the acronym BFP (big fat positive) for any kind of test. we're just used to using it for pregnancy tests. Sarah - the test merely detects the rise in hormone level, this can still happen if your tubes are blocked, as paige says, you'd need a scan to tell this. good luck ttc and have fun x

arghhh right i see, well hopefully there not i do feel my ovary twinge and get the cervical mucus about an hr after its happend and when i test the ovulation strip is poss, i dont think my tubes are blocked, however when TTC i guess every thing runs threw your mind and im the worst for it :S

Then I stick by the overall theme of yes you can still have problems, you would need real tests by a doctor to know if anything was wrong.

erm sorry im bein thick ere! so r u sayin ur gettin a big fat pregnant (bfp) wen u test?? or do u mean ur gettin a big fat negative?(bfn) cuz if ur gettin a bfp then ur preg! x
