The main thing with PCOS is blood sugar balance. Keeping the ratio of proteins and carbohydrates right in your diet. I use multi-vitamins and minerals a lot with the women I see who have PCOS and also make sure they are on Omega 3 (an essential fatty acid). Many women with PCOS may be defficient in Vitamin D. The best source is sunshine so try and boost your levels this summer (20 minutes a day). Exercise is also important for blood sugar control. There is a very good charity called Verity who may be able to give you some advice if you look on their website.
I have seen some websites that suggest you can eat certain foods that help as they help balance your hormones...
I am seeing a nutritionist (though she wants me to go to my specialist first so she can adjust my diet according to what I need!) It's all really exciting.
Really hopeful...
I'm sure there are things you can do but I don't think a simple vitamin will be enough! I could be wrong...
Good luck... you will get pregnant in time... don't worry!!!
Hi, I havent heard of there being any - only healthy eating and exercise to keep your weight at a good level.
