My second daughter whose now 19 months was the same. She now sleeps through the night but this didn't happen til she was about a year old partly because I gave into her demands!! I would probably stick with what you're doing and see what happens when you start weaning at 6 months, you may find he sleeps through better then. Once food is established if you feel he's waking but not really needing food you could perhaps offer water instead of milk to discourage him from waking up. He's still fairly young at the moment but sounds like you're doing all the right things. Hope this helps.
can anyone offer any help ? would really appreciate it. thanks xx
Hiya
My 3 mth old is in a really consistent bedtime routine, bath, feed and bed for 7pm and he tends to sleep to about 3am/4am, has a feed and then sleeps to about 6/7am.
He sometimes wakes up at about midnight and if he does, i check nappy, feed him and then he goes off to sleep until about 6am, sometimes wakes again at 3/4am.
Is this normal? Or should I be doing something to elminate the random waking times around midnight, cos he has shown he can sleep through.
Has same feeds everyday, always make more than he actually takes so i know he is getting what he wants?
thanks
xx
