Hi, I got a 10 months old baby, very healthy, he born on February this year, I got pregnant on January last year and had a miscarried, I did not bleed at all, when I went for first scan they told me that the baby did not had a heart bit, so in the beginning of April I had a surgery (to take the baby out), any way in May I got pregnant again and now I got my beautiful baby boy! So I thing that that is matter how long do you wait, I was desperate for a baby so we try straight away! The only that I did was have a very healthy life, not smoke, not alcohol, not coffee, not grease food, and take your pregnancy tablets before be pregnant. Very Good Luck.. xxx
HI, Same thing happened to me! I had a misccariage in March 06, also had surgery as didn't have much bleeding and couldn't face waiting for it to happen. I found out I was pregnant again June 06 and gave birth to a healthy baby girl Feb 07. We decided to try again last year and fell pregnant straight away but sadly I miscarried again in Nov, would like to try again but not been feeling well last few weeks. I was given conflicting advice 1st time it happened, midwife said 1mth, hospital doc said 3mths and my GP said 6mths. This time I was told that I didn't have to wait and could try again as soon as we felt ready. I believe that it is a personal choice and as long as there is no medical reason then you should try again when you feel ready.

I lost my baby one week ago - I was 8 weeks. I keep seeing information on sites which states that you should wait for whatever amount of time. There is an article on this website which actually goes as far to say that you will risk miscarriage if you get pregnant immediately.

This is totally incorrect and highly irresponsible because physically it makes no difference how soon you get pregnant again (evidence points to the fact that ovulation wont take place until your body is ready so no ovulation, no pregnancy)

I am going to follow my own gut feeling and the advice of my GP who basically suggested that I relax, let nature take its course and only do what I feel am ready to do (when I think I'm ready).

I've miscarried 3 times now - twice at just under 6 weeks and once at 9 weeks. One doc says wait 3 months as it gives the lining of the womb a chance to recover but the paperwork they give you says you can try straight away but best to wait for one cycle so you can date the next pregnancy. But everyone seems to say start when YOU feel ready. Good luck xx

I miscarried at 10+5 February this year and then again at 7 wks in June. My fertility specialist told me that an study in the 60's concluded you should wait for 3 months before ttc again. He said that this has now been disproven and that as long as you feel ok within yourself to start trying again and there haven't been any major medical complications, its ok to start ttc again straight away. Sometimes they ask you to wait a cycle before trying, but that is just so that its easier to date the next pregnancy. Good luck and sorry for your loss.
