fathers day

thanx everyone, def got me thinking! my dad was never around (and still isnt)! so i always like to make sure my oh knows how much we love and appreciate all he does for us (aaahhhhhh) might start crying now-bloody hormones!! x x

hi, i got my bf a mouse matt with a picture of my son and daughter on it for them 2 give him for fathers day. try asda they do loads of personalised things like that, they have beer mugs that u put in the fridge 2 cool that u can have there pic on. or get a watch or suminthin with it engraved. xxx

I got my boyfriend a book in morrisons called Clever Daddy by Maddie Stewart and it was only £3.99, bargain lol. It goes through why my daddy is so clever cos he swings him round and builds up blocks and makes bathtime fun etc, it is a little boy in the book though. Last year (reccuring theme lol) I bought a reaaly really cute book called "Best Daddy in all the World" by Gill Lobel and Vanessa Cabban which might be more appropriate from a little girl and its about a little rabbits who's lost it's daddy and it goes through trying to find him saying he's the best daddy in all the work and he's got the biggest ears and can bounce the highest and is the cuddliest etc and then never fear at the end he's found and the little rabbit goes "see I told you my daddy was the best daddy in all the world" or something to that effect lol. It's dead cute, I got it from amazon. Other than that it's just the usual photoframe, teddy etc ideas that always come to mind =]

u could get her to make something personal for him a special card or something just buy some art and crafts bits and bobs and pva glue and she will have huge amounts of fun and her daddy will get a unique master piece lol or u could bake a cake together and let her decorate it. i have a 2 year old too but we dont have a fathers day issue lol im totally stuck on idea for my dad tho! or if he uses a pc alot u cud get a personalised mouse mat either let her draw a pic and get that put on it or use a photo. hope u find the perfect idea xx

hi all, so fathers day is approaching and being 38 weeks preg i havent been very organised this year! i was wondering if anyone had ideas on what i can get OH from our daughter who's almost 2yrs. he has the 'daddy' socks, mugs, keyrings etc but wanted to do something bit more imaginative!! any ideas? thanx x x
