Should I change formula?

Thanks everyone, it seems such a minefield don't it?? She's had another bellyache today so I definitely think I'm going to change. I've heard Aptimil is good?

Hi, I agree with the girls...we started on cow and gate and my LO was very unhappy, changed to aptamil and he has been fine ever since. Some formulas just don't agree with some babies. Tbh I don't even think I told my hv about it, I had heard so many stories that I just tried the next one on the shelf xx

do what u think is best i think i changed alfies formula about 3 or 4 times b4 i found one that we was both happy with. how can keeping a baby on a milk that doesnt agree with it be good for them? health visitors dont know it all in fact some dont even have their own kids and parents make the real experts! i found alfie was sicky on sma but i also know 3 babies that were sicky on cow and gate and 1 on aptimil so its just trial and error xxx

Hi. I tried my little boy on Cow and Gate but it made him windy as well so i put him onto SMA and he was fine. The hv and midwife may be against it, but your her mother and if you feel it is the best thing to do then do it. Changing my sons formula never did him any harm. If you do change though and she still suffers then tell your hv. Hope it works out for you. xx

My little girl is 3 weeks and over the last couple of days she seems to have been a lot more windy than usual and has had a couple of bellyaches. She hasn't been sick and she has been doing 3-4 poos a day which are yellow and soft, she just seems to be suffering more with wind. I use Dr Brown bottles and Infacol before feeds. Do you think I should change her formula? The hv and midwives seem so against changing but I'm not sure what else to do. She is on Cow and Gate first at the moment. Thanks for any advice :-) Claire xx
