when does the bump arrive?

Hi This is my first pregnancy and I've just bought myself some maternity pants as all my pants were too tight (I'm nearly 15 weeks pregnant). My waist has really thickened up but I've put weight on as I the only thing the helped my morning sickness was to eat : / I guess I was wondering when does a first time pregnant 'bump' usually start to show? I tend to pop out a bit in the evening. I guess I'm looking forward to look preg rather than just chubby : D

LOL! I am skinny but I showed about 8 weeks and had the most enormous bump at the end!! So I have no idea why some people show later than others! I did just have a bump though and wore by nromal jeans home the day after I gave birth to my little girl (8lb 12oz)!! x

I think it varies from person to person depending on if you were big or small before you were pregnant, I was always quite small (about a 6-8) and really petite and I didn't get a bump until about 20 weeks and it was really small and even now (33+5) it's obvious, but its not gigantic, I can still fit into a size 8 yay! xxxxxxxx

Yeah,when does it go hard? any ideas? at 21 weeks mine is still wobbly (hmmmm nice,such a turn off i'm sure),it's clear i'm pregnant,but would be nice if it was harder.

People have only just started realising i'm pregnant and i'm 23 weeks! I still feel like a little fatty and it's still not proper hard like you imagine it to be! Don't you just hate that in between stage!

got my bump at bout 10 weeks and lily is my first baby so if sasssy's theory is right god knows when i'll be wearing maternity clothes with my next one! it all depends my mum knew a woman who didnt show at all til 10 days or something before was born and then looked like she'd never had any babies whatsoever bout 10 days after lucky cow! x x
Im never blooming right (rolls eyes) x though if i ever (which i wont) have another (no way in hell)..id prob show the night i concieve!! x

i was wearing maternity clothes at 10 weeks-he's my 5th though and your show earlier the more you have. With my first i was soooo eager to get my bump, and finally at 25 weeks, i looked pregnant! i was so excited lol. anyway, congrats-enjoy eating (its the best bit i think lol) and enjoy your bump! xxx

i must admit iv always had a podge but in the evening it feels more bump like for some reason especially higher up. x
