Did you notice a correlation between sickness and sex of child?

Hi i've heard a few people say that you're more likely to have a girl if you throw up a lot. I've felt sick every day since about week 6 but only been sick once and just wondered what people's experiences were. Can you let me know if you were actually sick and if so how much and what sex you had please. I'm not convinced myself but thought it woould be interested to do a mini survey!!! Thanks for reading and replying! x

Right ladies i have decided (based on evidence below) that sickness is not related to the sex of the child! Thanks all for your help! x

I'm 18 weeks pregnant and from 4 weeks to 12 weeks I felt really really sick most of the day and night. I find out in 3 weeks the sex of the baby, but my consultant and midwife have both said they think it's a girl as this pregnancy is so different to my first, my little boy! I had no sickness and didn't really feel pregnant, but this one is so different. Then again a friend of mine was violently sick with her little boy. Think everyone is different!!!!

Had a little boy and I was violently sick up until about 14 weeks pregnant, lost 1 1/2 stone and ended up only 3lbs heavier at the end. Had really bad heartburn as well. All the old ladies thought I was carrying a girl cos my bump was small and all front - proved them wrong! lol!
